Retransfer Printing Technology

Retransfer printing technology is a Two steps printing process to produce high resolution Edge over printing.

1. Thermal Print head will print complete Image to a Retransfer film.
2. Once the image is completely printed on the Retransfer film, it will be transferred to card using Dye Sublimation method.

With this technology, top-quality high-resolution prints will be achieved with printing on sharp edges as well. Since the print head doesn’t get direct contact with cards, its give long life and continues operation for large production of card

Retransfer Card Printing vs Direct Card printing

Retransfer printing technology produce high resolution prints with two steps printing process, where the printing will be done from the sharp edges of card surface. Its also provide long life for print head since there is no direct contact with cards.

Direct card printers, do not print on the sharp edges of card surface and in results it leaves a small space without printing on the edges of card surface.
