RT/PR Series

RT/PR series - Rack Mount UPS

RACK MOUNTABLE ONLINE UPS
1000VA ~ 10000VA
The RT/ PR series online rackmount UPS, 1 - 10 kVA, has adopted the highest level of DSP control. The advanced DSP technology, gives it optimum stability and high performance. This makes it perfect for datacenters, servers, control systems, telecom systems and workstations. The 19” 4U design has a distinct advantage, with the UPS fitting within the server rack, thus making it very compact. Quote RT/PR Series

Intelligent and efficient network power protection from entry level to scalable runtime. Ideal power backup solution for network service providers, datacenters, hosting providers and more. RT/PR Series rack mount UPSs are specially designed to easily fit in racks. They can be mounted in racks with width as small as 19" and generally fits in rack spaces with a height anywhere starting from 4U

Double Conversion Pure Sine Wave

Elsy RT/PR rack double conversion online UPS provides consistent, clean and near perfect power, regardless of the topology operate by converting incoming AC power to DC, and back to AC. This technology isolates output power from input power 100% of the time and has a zero-transfer time.

Providing the highest level of utility power protection, the batteries within an online UPS system are always connected to the inverter so there is no power interruption.

Advantages of double-conversion on-line:

• Operates less often from battery when the input voltage is highly distorted

• Power factor correction (PFC) provided, regardless of load type

• More compact and lightweight, especially at higher power levels

• Can regulate output frequency, and even perform frequency “conversion” from 50Hz to 60Hz (and vice versa)

Overload & Short Circuit Protection
Overload & Short Circuit Protection

Short Circuit Current - Short circuit is very huge. (x100 s of rated current). Short circuit causes instant damage. Must be cut immediately. Always a fault, not normal.

Overload Current Current is more than rated, but not much. Causes overheating by time. Causes damage over time. It is very common to happen. Must be cut after a period, not instantly.

Overload protection is a protection protection against a running over current that would cause overheating. Overload protection typically operates on an inverse time curve where the tripping time becomes less as the current increases.

Short circuit protection is protection against excessive currents or current beyond the acceptable current rating of equipment and it operates instantly. As soon as an overcurrent is detected the device trips and breaks the circuit.

Network Management

This SNMP Network Card enables the user to monitor and manage multiple UPSs in a networked environment including LAN and INTERNET. It can detect temperature and humidity for the environment via connecting to EMD (Environmental Monitoring Device). it can not only prevent data loss from power outage and safely shutdown systems, but also store programming data and scheduled shut down the UPS.
